Overview
Archer Western/Traylor Bros. JV, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking an Instrument Person for the SETF / Howard Frankland Bridge Replacement, in Tampa, FL.
The Instrument Person's primary function to operate surveying instruments and mark reference points for grades; may oversee Rodman.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sets up, adjusts, and operates surveying equipment
May assist Surveyor in establishing elevation points and other field layout
Works with plans to establish points and grades for construction
May perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
3 years of construction experience Preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
