Overview
Great Hills Constructors, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Junior Party Chief for the 183 North Mobility Project , in Austin, Texas .
The Junior Party Chief's Primary function is to be atble to perform some surveying tasks with minimal supervision from his field engineer, Party Chief or survey manager.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform some surveying tasks in the field, such as layout underground utilities, road sidewalks, collecting field data
Ability to coordinate with survey manager, that may be offsite, and with project management staff for daily operations
Provide care to survey equipment and understand usage of data collection equipment and upgrades to technology
May be required to work as a one-person crew; May perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
1-2 years of construction/field layout experience required
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
May be required to work in adverse weather conditions
Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
